Although we really tried hard, there are always questions left open. But perhaps somebody else had already put the same question? Please check!
I am trying to add the licence key to my software. In the instructions I should be able to do this via the right mouse click on the software symbol. However this option is not available. Can you tell me how to add the licence key?
You need to right click on the yellow system tray icon and then choose licensing. A window will open in which you need to copy your license key. Should that not work please contact info@aloaha.com.

How do I configure that the screen locks when I remove the card?
Please create a registry KEY: HKLM\Software\Aloaha\CSP\RemoveAction and set it to 0
In the file UserPass.ini create the following entries:
[AutoLock]
PolicyAction=1
RemoveActionM=1
You find the UserPass.ini in the installation folder of Aloaha

How do I configure the credential provider that he locks the desktop as soon I remove the smart card?
You need to configure that in your system or domain policy under -> Computer Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> Interactive logon: Smart card removal behavior
You can also set it directly in the registry:
HKLM\Software\Aloaha\CSP\RemoveAction (String Value). Value 1 is for lock desktop and value 2 for logoff.

If not, please do not hesitate to send us your question. We would be glad to answer it.
Do I need a Smartcard or can I use my plain memory stick to log on to windows?
The latest version of Aloaha Smart Login supports approx 45 Smartcards but it is also possible to use a plain USB Stick/Memory Stick to Login to Windows!
The Aloaha Smart Login packages comes with a Windows Gina for Windows XP, a Credential Provider for Windows Vista and Windows 7 which enables you to log into Windows systems or authenticate to websites.
